Problem

The whiteboards product required automated hard deletion functionality and compliance controls in place to support rolling out to enterprise users.

Outcomes

• Architected and led delivery of customer data hard deletion across a distributed system – driving technical design, conducting spikes, and coordinating 10 engineers over 4 months.
• Fulfilled SOC 2 and ISO 27001 requirements, directly enabling enterprise adoption of Confluence whiteboards.
